Biography

Dr. Zhifei Zhang holds a position of Professor at Northwest University, China, Programme Director of Palaeotology and Sedimentology at National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing, China. He has completed his Ph.D. in Palaeontology and Stratigraphy from Northwest University, Xi`an, China, and Postdoctoral research at the Institute of Paleontology and Sedimentology, Nanjing, China. Dr. Zhifei received honors includes top 100 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of P.R. China, top 10 excellent research papers in Shaanxi Province of China, Scientific Award by the Ministry of Education of China, Outstanding young Teachers in Universities of China, and Award to distinguished young Palaeontologists in China. He also completed many funded research projects. He has supervised 3 students thesis. He has published 63 research articles in journals and 11 conference abstracts contributed as author/co-author.
