Dr. Maofa Ge is currently working as Professor at Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Jilin University, China. His working experience includes, worked as Teaching Assistant at Jilin University, Post Doctoral Fellow and Associate Professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute fuer Chemie, Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin, Germany, and Researcher at Kansai Advanced Research Center, Nagoya, Japan, and Associate Director of Atmospheric Components Committee, Chinese. He is member of editorial board in number of journals. He is member of CNC-IGBP-IGAC workgroup, and Associate Director of Aerosol Committee, Chinese Society of Particuology. His major research field related to Atmospheric & Aerosol & Environmental Chemistry such as Seek Understanding of Atmospheric Chemistry at the Molecular level using Techniques and Concepts of Physical Chemistry, Focus at the interface between Chemistry and Atmospheric Science (1) Seek the new chemistry of the atmosphere (2) Exploration of how atmospheric gas components and aerosol impact atmospheric and environmental problems such as haze, ozone, climate change, etc, Development and application of the advanced instrumentation (Real-time on-line and Quantitative measurements; kinetics, Mass spectroscopy, Photoelectron spectroscopy, Laser spectroscopy), and Pollution control: Environmental catalysis, Novel Nano-materials for water pollution control. Dr. Maofa Ge received number of honors includes obtain the Young Chemists Award of the Chinese Chemical Society, Obtain the Second Class Prize of National Natural Science Prize from Chinese Government, Obtain the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and many others. He has published 238 articles in journals as author/co-author.
