Biography

Dr. Yong Chen is currently working at School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. He obtained his PhD in Environmental Aquatic Chemistry from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. In past he worked as Visitor Professor at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. His research interest focused on Environmental Photochemistry, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, and Advanced Oxidation Processes for Wastewater Treatment, Characterization and Photochemistry of Humic Substances, Source and Fate of Disinfection by-Products in Drinking Water. He has published 27 academic writings in national and international journals.
