Dr. Jing Wang is currently working as Associate Professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, and Assistant Research Scientist at Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy, Medical College of Georgia, Georgia Regents University Laboratory of Sylvia B. Smith. He obtained his Ph.D. in Food Sciences from China Agricultural University, Beijing, China in 2004. In past he worked as Assistant Professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, and Research Assistant at Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, Beijing, China. He also received number of grants for his research work. He also received Merit Scholarship, 1994-2001, First Prize (Wuhan Polytechnic University), Outstanding student award, Winner of Excellent Class Leader Prize, Marie Curie Scholarship Award by European Cell Death Organization, Travel Grant from the National Eye Institute ($1750) awarded by Association for Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics 12th Scientific Meeting (AOPT , 2015) . He is also serving as reviewer of several journals. He has 34 publications in journals as well as 6 abstracts contributed as author/co-author.
