Dr. Yujie Feng got her Ph.D and M.Phil from Harbin Institute of Technology and Bachelor degree from Tianjin University. She has been working in Harbin Institute of Technology as a Lecture (1994-1998), Associate Professor (1998-2002) and Professor (since 2002). She is currently the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resource and Environment (HIT) of Ministry of Science & Technology in China. She is also Visiting Professor in Penn State University, USA and IWA Fellows. She focused on the research of Wastewater Treatment and Energy/Resources Recovery, Risk Evaluation of Toxic Compounds or Nano-Materials in Engineering System and Natural Water sources. She was awarded the National Distinguished Young Scholar in 2011. In 2005, she was enrolled into the program of Excellent Scholars of New Century in China and was also listed as Top 100 Excellent Young Teachers in Universities in China in 2003. In 2014, she was listed one of the Most Cited Chinese Researchers by Scopus database. In recent 10 years, she has taken over 20 scientific projects as a principal investigator and has awarded 11 scientific rewards of national-level and provincial-level. She has been published near 200 papers, including SCI paper 120. H index is 26. In 2004, she was rewarded the top 10 Excellent Young in Heilongjiang Province and in 2012 she was rewarded the “51 Labor Medal” in Heilongjiang Province.
