Biography

Dr. Junming Zhao is currently working as Associate Professor at School of Energy Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He obtained his PhD in Engineering Thermophysics from same Institute in 2007. In past he worked as Research Assistant the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China, Lecturer at Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and Visiting Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. His area of research interest related to Radiative Transfer Models and Numerical Methods for Solving Complex Radiative Transfer Problems in Heat Transfer and Measurement, Polarized Radiative Transfer, Micro/Nano Radiative Heat Transfer, Radiative Properties Tuning for Energy Harvesting and Thermal Management, Near field Radiative Heat Transfer, Inverse Radiative Transfer Problems, Radiative Properties of Particle/Bioparticle Suspensions, Radiative properties Measurement Techniques. He is member of ASME, and AIAA. He is also serving as reviewer in number of journals. Dr. Junming received honor includes excellent young scholar in fundamental research incubation program of HIT, Second prize of young teachers teaching skills contest of HIT, and Nomination of the Excellent Ph.D. dissertation of China of year 2009. He has published 35 research papers in journals, as well as 20 conference papers, and 2 books contributed as author/co-author.
