Biography

Dr. Hasibun Naher holds a position of Associate Professor of Mathematics in Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Brac University, Bangladesh. She has completed her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia and M. Sc. in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Previously she was appointed as Lecturer at City University, Royal University, Prime University, and Brac University. She was awarded the 2018 OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Award for Early Career Women Scientists in the Developing World in Applied Mathematics of sixty six countries in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics that was held on 17 February 2018, Auxtin, Texas, USA. She also received Award as the best researcher in BRAC University Faculty & Staff Award 2015. She has published 38 research articles in journals, 8 conference proceedings, 3 books and 1 book chapter contributed as author. She is also serving as member of editorial board in more than 155 international journals, and reviewer for 43 international journals. She is a member of many conferences committees. She is life member of National Oceanographic and Maritime Institute, member of International Association of Engineers, South Asian Institute of Science and Engineering, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors, Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers, The American Society for Research, and The Association for Women in Mathematics.
