Dr. Mohammad Shah Alam is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Anatomy & Histology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Bangladesh. He has completed his PhD in Veterinary Medical Science from Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Japan, and Master of Science(MS) in Anatomy from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He also worked as Lecturer and Honorary Professor at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University, Bangladesh. His main area of research interest focuses on Molecular and Cellular Analyses of Mammalian Gonadogenesis, Testiculogenesis and Spermatogenesis, Stem Cells, Germ line Stem Cells (GSCs), Testicular Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSC), Cancer Stem Cells and Cancer Therapy, and Environmental Toxicology (Endocrine disruptors). Dr. Mohammad Shah Alam received honors includes Awarded Monbokagakusho (Mext) Scholarship, Excellent poster presentation award, received teaching and research assistantship (2007-2009) to teach Veterinary Anatomy and Cell biology research to undergraduate student in The University of Tokyo, Japan. He also visited many famous Universities and research institutes for the purpose of academic interactions and research collaboration with famous scientists and academicians. He is professional member of Bangladesh Veterinary Association (BVA), Bangladesh, Japanese Society of Veterinary Medical Sciences, Japan, Asian Veterinary Association of Anatomists, and World Veterinary Association. He is also serving as member of editorial board in journals such as Journal of Veterinary Medical Science, Japan, International Journal of Veterinary Science, Nigeria, Advances in Animal and Veterinary Sciences, India, Journal of Advanced Veterinary and Animal Research, Bangladesh, Editorial Board, Austin Journal of Anatomy, USA, and Austin Journal of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, USA. He has completed 2 research projects as principal investigator. He has published 13 research articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals as well as 9 proceedings contributed as author/co-author.
