Biography

Md. Moyazzem Hossain is an applied statistician and data scientist with expertise in both developing and applying recent methodologies, models, and technologies. Hossain starts his teaching career as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) in 2008 and served until joining at Islamic University. Before joining Jahangirnagar University as an Assistant Professor in 2014, he served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, Islamic University, Kushtia from 2010 to 2014. Currently, Hossain working as a faculty of Statistics at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.

Besides teaching, Hossain enjoys research activities. As a result, he published several research articles on different national and international peer-reviewed journals of different world reputed publishers like Nature, Springer Nature, Elsevier, SAGE, etc. Additionally, he served as a Member of the Editorial Board of different international journals.
