Dr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman is currently working as Professor at Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He obtained his PhD in Materials and Life Sciences from Kumamoto University, Japan. Dr. Mohammed Mizanur received honors includes Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellowship for Experiences Researcher, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship, Young Researcher Award-2009 (Gold Medalist in Physical Sciences), Young Scientist Prize, Japanese Government Monbukagakusho Scholarship, and Primary Scholarship Award (1983) by the Ministry Education, Bangladesh. In past he worked as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor at University of Dhaka. He is also serving as reviewer of over 100 peer reviewed journals in American Chemical Society, Wiley-Verlag, Wiley and Sons, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis and Springer etc. He is professional member and life member of many societies. He also received number of grant for his research work. He has published 7 peer reviewed books, 55 articles in peer review journals, and 22 conference proceedings contributed as author/co-author.
