Dr. Kin Fong Lei received his B.S. in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan in 1998. He obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000 and 2005, respectively. In 2000, he was invited as a Visiting Research Fellow at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. In 2006, he was working in Surface Science Western, University of Western Ontario, Canada as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and focused on Surface Analysis on Self Assembly Monolayer (SAM) modified Microfluidic Device for Biological Applications. From 2007 to 2010, he was a Lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2010, he joined the Graduate Institute of Medical Mechatronics, Chang Gung University, Taiwan. His current research interests include Microfluidic Devices/Systems, Electrochemical Bio-Sensing, Manipulation of Bio-Molecules, and Bio-Medical Diagnostic Devices. He is also serving as member of editorial board in Scientific Reports, Progress in Engineering, Journal of Medicine Research and Development, American Journal of Biomedical Engineering, and International Journal of Biotechnology Applications. He also completed 13 founded research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-investigator. He is author and co-author of 17 journals papers.
