Biography

Dr. Wan-Yu Liu was born in Chiayi City and grew up there until 1998. She received her B.B.A. degree in Finance from National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taipei, Taiwan, in 2002, M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics and Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Since August 2008, she has been an Assistant Professor of the Department of Applied Natural Resources at Aletheia University and an Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism Information since Feb. 2012. Her main research interests include Environmental and Resource Economics Analysis, Applied Econometrics, Evaluation of GHG Reduction Policies, as well as Forest Economics. She has published 21 research papers in journals, 25 papers in international conferences contributed as author/co-author.
