Biography

Dr. James J.H. Liou is currently working as Professor in Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, and Associate Dean College of Management at National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from University of Missouri, USA. Previously he was appointed as Research Assistant at Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, U of Missouri-Columbia, Engineer and Chief Engineer at Aircraft Certification Institute, Taiwan, and Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Kainan University, Taiwan. He also received Best Teaching and Best Research award from Kainan University and College of Management, National Taipei University of Technology. His main area of research interest focuses on Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Soft Computing, Data Mining, Structure Equation Modeling, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, and Decision Science. He has published 38 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. He is also serving as member of editor board in many national and international journals and reviewer for more than 57 journals.
