Dr. Wei-Chiang Samuelson Hong is currently working as Professor in Department of Information Management, Oriental Institute of Technology, Taiwan. He obtained his PhD in Management from Da Yeh University, Changhua, Taiwan in 2008. His research area focused on Computational Intelligence (Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation), Application of Forecasting Technology (ARIMA, Support Vector Regression, and Chaos Theory, Cloud Theory, Quantum theory), and Active Data Mining. In past he worked as Adjunct Lecturer at Da Yeh University Taiwan, Visiting Scholar at Osaka University Japan, Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Oriental Institute of Technology, Taiwan. He is member of following professional societies, IIE (The Institution of Industrial Engineers) USA, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Technical Committee on Soft Computing, USA, INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences), USA. He has published 69 articles in journals, 3 book and book chapters, 22 papers in conferences as author/co-author. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals.
