Biography

Dr. Fatih Deniz is currently working as Teacher at Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Technical and Industrial Vocational High School, Gaziantep, Turkey. He has completed his Ph.D. in Biology from Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, Turkey. Previously he was appointed as Research Assistant at Biology Department, Faculty of Arts and Science, Gaziantep University, Gaziantep, Turkey. His area of research interest focuses on Water Pollution, Environmental Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, and Plant Physiology. He is member of Water Foundation, Turkish National Committee on Water Pollution Research and Control (SKATMK), Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats (TEMA), and Biologists Association. He is also serving as referee for number of journals such as Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy, Chemosphere, Separation Science and Technology, Cellulose, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering C, Desalination and Water Treatment, Environmental Engineering and Management Journal, and Industrial Crops and Products. Dr. Fatih received honors includes International Scientific Publication Awards from Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Achievement Certificate for Outstanding Effort and Success at the Work, and University Term First Award from Gaziantep University. He has published 14 research articles in journals as well as 11 presentations in national and international meetings, and 4 other publications contributed as author/co-author. He is member of editorial board in Journal of Coastal Life Medicine.
