Dr. Rezzan Kasim is the Doctor of Philosophy, Horticulture (Postharvest Technology of Vegetables) Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, Diskapi, Ankara,Turkey. His PhD thesis entitled `The effect of preharvest maleic hydrazite and ethephone treatment on storage duration of carrot (Daucus carota L.)` was completed in 2001. He received Master of Science and Bachelor of Science Horticulture from same university. He has published articles in journals international (18), national (6), proceedings (27) and 4 other publications. His prior work experience includes Teaching Assistant and Expert, Vocational School of Kalecik, Ankara University, Ankara,Turkey in 1988-2008 and Postharvest Technology Department, Atatürk Central Horticultural Research Institute, Yalova, Turkey in 2000-2002, respectively. He also spent some years as Assistant Professor at Postharvest Technology Department, Kocaeli University, Kartepe, Kocaeli Turkey and now, he is Associate Professor at same university.
