Biography

Prof. Mustafa M. Demir holds a position of Professor and Head at Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. He has completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, Turkey. He also performed his duties as Postdoctoral Fellow at Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Germany, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey. Prof. Mustafa received honors includes Fevzi Akkaya Foundation Outstanding Young Scientist Award, Scientist Award, 2013 from International Association of Advanced Materials, and Turkish Academy of Science Outstanding Young Investigator Award. He is also serving as peer reviewer for number of journals. He has published 39 research articles in journals, 1 book chapter, and edits 3 books contributed as author/co-author.
