Biography

Dr. Ibrahim Demirtas is currently working as Professor of Organic Chemistry, Cankiri Karatekin University, Cankiri, Turkey. He has completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK in 1998, and MSc in Chemistry from Art, Ataturk University, Erzurum, Turkey in 1992. previously he was appointed as Research Assistant, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Gaziosmanpasa University. He has published 55 research articles in journals as well as 27 conference proceeding and 1 patent contributed as author/co-author. His area of expertise includes Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Stereochemistry, Synthesis of Natural Products, Advanced NMR, and Flavonoid Chemistry. He successfully completed 6 research projects.
