Biography

Dr. Suresh Subramoniam is currently working as Associate Professor at Department of Business Administration, College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He obtained his PhD in Management Studies from University of Kerala in 2005. His area of expertise includes, Operations Management, Operations Research, Enterprise Resource Planning, Management Information Systems, Finance Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Information Technology. He supervised 1 PhD students, 6 PhD currently in his supervision. In past he worked as Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA, UGC Research Fellow at Anna University, Madras, Research Engineer at Indian Space Research Organization, Government of India, Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Government College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Assistant Professor at the College of Business Administration, Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Associate Professor at Sohar University. He has published (32) articles in journals, (2) in magazine, (41) papers in conferences, (1) book, (4) chapters in book as writer/co-writer. He also attended number of short courses. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals. He also presented in number of conferences and short courses. He is member of following scientific societies, Life Fellow of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineers, Past Honorary Secretary, Treasurer and Present Vice-Chairman of Trivandrum Chapter, National Council of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Navi Mumbai, Indian Society of Technical Education, Indian Society for Aerospace Related Mechanisms, All India Management Association, Executive Committee Member Trivandrum Management Association, Association of Indian Management Scholars, Association of Information Systems, USA, American Production and Inventory Control Society, APICS, USA.
