Biography

Dr. Ramachandran Saravanan is presently working as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chettinad University, Kelambakkam, Tamil Nadu. He has completed his Ph.D. in Marine Biotechnology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India. His main area of interest focuses on Pharmacology and Toxicology, Biomedical Sciences, and Development of Drugs from Natural Sources. His area of expertise includes Marine, Glycosaminoglycans, Heparan Sulfate, MALDI/TOF-MS, Chromatography, Electrophoresis, Chitosan, FT-IR, GC-MS, DSC, Anticoagulant, In Vitro & in Vivo studies, Toxins, Glycopeptides, Anticancer, Seaweed Polyphenols, and Phloroglucinol. He has published 24 research articles in journals as well as 3 book and book chapters contributed as author/co-author.
