Biography

Dr. Bhuvaneswari Devi Chinthirla is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Biotechnology Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences University, India. She earned her Ph.D. in Neurosciences from same University 2005. She also received diploma in Yoga from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati AP, India. Her main area of research interest focuses on Neurochemistry, Neuropharmacology, Neurotoxicology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology Genomics and Immunology. Dr. Bhuvaneswari Devi served in different capacities which include, recognized research guide in Zoology by S.V. University and guiding M.Phil & PhD students, Guiding M.Sc dissertations and completed 51 projects in Biotechnology, Assistant Professor in Biotechnology in SVIMS University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, Assistant Professor in Zoology in Sri Padmavathi Degree and PG College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, and Junior Lecturer in Zoology in Sri Padmavathi Junior College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has won awards among them fast track Woman Scientist from Department of Science and Technology, Environmentalist Award of the year 2008, and Prize Winner in Yoga completion. She is life member of Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy, Indian Society of Comparative Animal Physiology, National Environmental Science Academy, and member of Board of Studies for Environmental Studies, DRW College affiliated to Vikrama Simhapuri University. Currently she is working on 2 research projects. She also visited different USA Universities for academic purpose. She has published 15 research articles in international journals, 1 paper in national journal, 26 presentations in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author. She also participated in number conferences, and workshops.
