Biography

Dr. G.V.M. Kiruthika is currently working as Scientist at CSIR, New Delhi & CECRI, Karaikudi, India. Dr. Kiruthika has received PhD degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 1999. Previously Dr. Kiruthika was appointed as Guest Scientist at Institute of Solid state and Materials Research, IFW, Dresden, Germany, Visiting Fellow at Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science, TIFR, Mumbai, India, Research Associate at Department of Chemistry, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, and Senior Project Officer at Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility, IITMadras, India. Dr Kiruthika’s field of specialization includes Materials Science and Solid State Inorganic Chemistry. Presently Dr. Kiruthika working on Solid Electrolytes/Electrodes for Fuel Cells and Li-Battery applications, Sensor Materials, and Catalysts, etc. Dr Kiruthika expertise in the area of employing Novel Synthetic routes for Stabilization of Ternary Oxide Systems, Materials Characterization involving XPS, XRD, Impedance Measurement, Squid, and Oxide Ionic Conduction, Chemical Intercalation, Magnetism, etc. Dr Kiruthika has published 10 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. Dr Kiruthika has guided 2 MSc students projects.
