Biography

Dr. Karuna Shanker is currently working as Senior Scientist at Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Department of Analytical Chemistry (CIMAP) India, Lucknow. He has obtained his PhD in Chemistry from same Institutes. His current area of research interest focuses on Applications of Chromatographic Techniques in Quality Evaluation, Fingerprinting and marker based standardization of Medicinal Plants, Isolation of Natural Products, development of Analytical and Bioanalytical methods, Pharmacokinetic study of NCE, LC-MS based Bioassay, and QC/QA of Herbal Products. Dr. Karuna received honors include Talented Scientist Award, Talented Scientist Award, Dr. P.D. Sethi Award, ISMAPS-Young Scientist Award, DST-SERC Fast Track Young Scientist Award and CSIR-SRF (Senior Research Fellowship) Fellowship CSIR-Council for Scientific and Industrial Research CSIR, New Delhi, India. He has published 26 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
