Biography

Dr. Nazrul Islam is currently working as Professor at Islamic University Madina, Saudi Arabia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, India. He is having 30 years teaching experience and 23 research experiences. Previously he was appointed as Lecturer, Reader and Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has successfully supervised 2 PhD, 5 M.Tech students, and 25 B.Tech students. Dr. Nazrul received honors includes The Cambridge Certificate for outstanding Engineering achievement 2012 awarded by IBC, Great Britain, reviewed many research papers of Structural Engineering and Mechanics, an international Journal, CV published in MARQUIS Who’s Who in the World - 2008, USA, CV published in MARQUIS Who’s Who in Science and Engineering-2006, USA, and offered to Chair WCCM-III, (World Conference on Computational Mechanics) Chiba, Japan. He is life member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), India, and member of Society of Engineers, London. He has 28 research articles in international journals as well as 36 papers in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author.
