Amit Kumar Srivastava earned his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (2010) from Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut, India and Master’s in Pharmacology (2013) from Truba Institute of Pharmacy, Bhopal, India. His master’s work was focused on developing the animal model and novel treatment therapies for psoriasis. He worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Department of Pharmacology, CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu, India, where he worked on studying the malaria epidemiology in tribal population of India and developing vaccine delivery platforms for the treatment of malaria. Currently, he is a PhD Research Scholar at the Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India. His research interest focuses on the development of novel strategies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious and autoimmune diseases. He has expertise in conducting in-vivo studies of the drug molecules in the early preclinical development phase. He has authored 40 scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and also serving as a peer reviewer in 25 scientific journals of repute. He is a member of many learned societies including American Chemical Society, The Biotech Research Society, India and The Indian Science Congress Association, India.
