Biography

Dr.Girish BM did his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore University (India) in 1997. He teaches subjects like Materials Science and Engineering, and Manufacturing Processes, and pursues research in areas related to wear, corrosion, and mechanical properties evaluation of Metal Matrix Composites and advanced alloys. He has published several research papers in highly reputed international journals like Wear, Corrosion Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Materials and Design, etc., published by reputed publishers like Elsevier, ASM, IMechE, etc. He is also a reviewer of research papers for the Elsevier journals, Materials Science and Engineering A, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds. He has been recognised by Elsevier for outstanding contribution as a reviewer during 2015 for contributing to the quality of the journal, Materials Science and Engineering A. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of few international journals.
