Biography

Dr. Jani Rajeshkumar Girijashanke is currently working as Professor at Anand Agricultural University, Department of Veterinary Medicine India, Anand. He has completed his PhD from same University. He is having 29 years teaching experience. He also completed 5 research projects as principal investigator, consultant, and coordinator. Dr. Jani received honors include Late V.A.J. Pinto Award-case prize for securing highest O.G.P.A, Vidhyalabh Avastthi Award-case prize, Shri Hariom Ashram Award, Professional Excellency Award, Gold medal for Clinical Medicine, and Best Teacher Award. He has published 74 research articles in national journals, 26 international journals, 12 book/chapters contributed as author/co-author. He is associate editor for International-Veterinary World Monthly Magazine, and Wildlife News Bulletin, Izatnagar. He is life member of Indian Society of Veterinary Medicine, Gujarat Association of Agricultural Sciences, and member of Gujarat Veterinary Council, Zoo Outreach Organization, and founder member of Society for Promotion of history of Zoos and Natural History in India, Wildlife Health Advisory Board of Union Territory, and Gujarat State Wildlife Health Board.
