Biography

Dr. Saima Amin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. She completed her Ph.D on Transdermal Drug Delivery. Dr. Amin has more than twelve years of teaching to undergraduates, post graduates and doctoral students. Dr. Amin has nearly forty international publications to her credit and has presented various papers at national and international forum. She has authored five book chapters for under graduate courses in Pharmacy. Currently she is involved in drug delivery through nano-carriers and has successfully completed research projects sanctioned by University Grants Commission and Department of Science and Technology, Delhi. Dr. Saima is an active member of federating bodies such as Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Association for Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and Indian Pharmaceutical Graduate Association (IPGA). She is the editorial member of Journal of Drug Delivery and Therapeutics. Dr. Amin has been conferred with Young Scientist Award by Department of Science and Technology (DST), India.
