Biography

Dr. V. Gowthaman is presently working as Assistant Professor at Poultry Disease Diagnosis and Surveillance Laboratory, Veterinary College and Research Institute Campus, India. He earned his PhD in Veterinary Pathology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, UP. Previously he served as Assistant Professor at Central University Laboratory, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India. He has completed 2 research projects as principal investigator and co-principal investigator. He is also serving as Associate editor for Advances in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. Dr. Gowthaman received honors includes Dr Ram Raksha Kiran Shukla Award for the best MVSc thesis, Indian Poultry Science Association (IPSA) Young Scientist Award, Best Poster Award by Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists, Best Poster Award- by Indian Poultry Science Association, and Oral Presentation Award-by Indian Association of Advancement of Veterinary Research. He has published 22 research articles in national and international journals, 4 manuals, and 52 national and international research abstracts contributed as author/co-author. He is also serving as member of many scientific organizations such as World’s Poultry Science Association, World Veterinary Poultry Association, Veterinary Council of India- New Delhi, Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists, Indian Poultry Science Association, Indian Association of Veterinary Microbiologists, Immunologists and Specialist in Infectious Diseases, Association of Avian Health Professionals, and C.M.Singh Trust, Izatnagar, Bareilly.
