Biography

Edwin Pithawala, (M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. Cont.), is an Assistant Professor at Khyati Institute of Science, Ahmedabad. He is an enrolled Ph.D. Student working under guidance of Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Jain, Head, Department of Life Sciences, Gujarat University. He has about 14 research publications including International and National research papers, communications and also participated and presented in many international conferences, Workshops and Seminars. He co-authored a chapter in a book entitled, “Industrial Microbial Enzymes”. He rendered his services to many of the Institutes at college and university level as visiting faculty and delivered many invited guest lectures in his field of expertise. Area of interests includes Microbiology, Cell Biology, Reproductive Biology, Nutrition physiology and Biotechnology. He has also delivered more than 30 online lectures including theory and practical at E.M.M.R.C., Gujarat University for Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) - an Inter University Centre, established by University Grants Commission including MOOCs programs and of core syllabus of Applied Zoology and Life Sciences as framed by UGC. One in all he has an Academic/Teaching experience of about 6 years including undergraduate and post graduate level.
