Biography

Dr. Amer Khan is aa clinical pharmacologist at Star Hospitals. He has several accreditations wherein he has trained over 500 potential pharmacists’ and 50 clinical pharmacist on various clinical pharmacy practices. He has also established Pharmaceutical care department which is first of a kind in India in practice and has run over 1200 chronic patients which has impacted their quality of life, amongst which he has achieved many definite outcomes out of which ‘Reversing the progression of chronic kidney failure’ is one of the testimony which is evidently published at Journal of diabetes and metabolic disorders. He has also been appointed as an Editorial member to an International journal.

He has successfully accomplished a degree in Doctor of Pharmacy from Deccan School of Pharmacy (affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru technological University, Hyderabad) and was awarded with distinction. His insights and vision led to publish more than 20 articles at national and international Journals including research articles, reviews and case reports. He is the first author to report ‘fluconazole and clonazapem interaction leading to respiratory depression’ for which he has received several accolades. He was also appointed as the first Editor of a pharma magazine entitled ‘Insight’ and received ‘best researcher’ award for excellence in his contributions. He has delivered several presentations at national and international conferences.
