Biography

Dr.P.Somasundaram has received Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamarajar University in the year 1995 and Master’s degree in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore in the year 1999. He received his Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai in the year 2005.
He has published 20 papers in International and National Journals. His areas of interest are Solar Energy, Alternate Refrigerants, Renewable Sources of Energy, Wind Farm, Innovative Technologies, etc.,

He has worked at many premier institutions like Coimbatore institute of Technology, CEG Anna University, MIT Anna University, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus, Kongu Engg College, Perundurai and KSR College of Tech. Tiruchengode. He is a Life Member in Indian Society for Technical Education – MISTE, Member in National Institution for quality and Reliability – NIQR, Fellow in Institution of Engineers (India) – FIE, Fellow in Institution of Valuers - FIV and Chartered Engineer.
