Biography

My key enthusiasm to become a teacher in academia is to get an opportunity to teach guidance, encourage and instruct graduate, postgraduate and Research students. I strongly trust in the significance of education in the general public, and on the same time teaching has provided me with rewarding experiences during my tenure at GNI. I believe the information we build up as practitioners and researchers is only precious if shared with others. As such, during my tenure at GNI-India, I had the opportunity to teach and advice both graduate and postgraduate students.

As a Lecturer I started my carrier at SSM college of Engineering and Technology Srinagar, Kashmir, J & K, India, I taught various subjects as a lecturer such as Electronic Devices and Circuits, Analog and Digital Communication and Microwave Engineering. In these courses, I got the chance to implement my teaching skills by combining a firm hypothetical base with practical hands-on experience. As a result, many of my graduate students qualified IES, Group1 and Group2 exams. As a part of my teaching duties, I also attended advanced teaching seminars, where I discussed different teaching issues, challenges and course design techniques. As a part of this class I also designed the course on microwave engineering. In addition to the subject of course design and teaching, the most insightful parts were the discussions with peer young teachers and the feedback from experienced professors.

During 2006-2008, I worked as an Assistant professor at Ayaan College of engineering and technology, Hyderabad India. In due course of time I taught Principles of electrical engineering and control system and got good results. Also I have been appointed as a mentor of 30 students and I trained them to get the job in repudiated multinational companies.

During 2008-2011, I Worked as Associate professor at Moghal College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad India. Later I have been promoted as HOD of ECE Dept. As HOD I improved and upgraded all labs to do research works.

During 2011-2016, I worked as Associate Professor & Research Head at JB Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous by UGC), Hyderabad India. The department of ECE Organized one national (CVIP 2012) and one international conferences (ICSS 2013), I was the co- convener of the international conference and organizer of national conference. I got an appreciation certificate by getting 100 % result. Also I supervised more than 10 theses of M.Tech projects. In these projects, I helped the students in framing their research as a usability problem and in designing user studies to further evaluate their dissertation work.
Since January 2016 to till date, I am working as a professor at Guru Nanak Institutions. I am teaching Microwave Engineering classes and special topic classes such as Topics in Data communication, Electronic Circuit Analysis.

My approach to teaching is to incorporate both a solid theoretical foundation, with hands-on experience in leading students into thinking about the problem, and formulating hypothesis, before engaging in their solution. The proper teaching of Microwave Engineering, for example, cannot be limited to the presentation of techniques and notations. Instead, it must focus on the understanding of its essential difficulties, and the principles used in its analysis, design and implementation. This can only be grasped by the combination of theory, as an enlightening factor, with hands-on experiences that allow the students to understand the problem and apply the same in practical life. I believe many of the problems faced by Microwave Engineering in the field are a consequence on the way this subject has been traditionally taught. Traditional Microwave courses focus on the exposition of techniques and approaches without much connection to the problems. In sum, by adopting a teaching philosophy that combines a solid theoretical background with handsome experience, my goal is to connect theory with practice, thus transmitting the knowledge acquired during years of research first to students, and through them, to society as a whole.

When teaching the students, I see myself as a bridge between the research and the practice of Communication system. I recognize my role as a professor as a channel to disseminate the lessons learned in the Communication engineering research by teaching the leading industry professionals and researches of tomorrow.
I started my carrier as a researcher in the area of communication protocols, particularly multimedia transmission over dynamic Adhoc Networks (QoS) in the year 2010. Since 2010 to till date i published various Journal and Conference Papers in reputed journals and conferences.
