Dr. Sidharth Mehan is currently working as Associate Professor at Rajendra Institute of Technology & Sciences, Sirsa, Haryana, India. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology from TGU, Shilong, Meghalya, India, and M. Pharm. in Pharmacology from ISF (Indo-Soviet-Friendship) College of Pharmacy, Ferozepur Road, Ghal Kalan, India. In past he worked as trainee at SWISS Pharma, RIICO, Ganganagar, Rajasthan, India, Assistant Professor in Pharmacology Department at G.D. Memorial College of Pharmacy, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, and Assistant Manager in Research & Development at BAPEX Pharma and Nutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Ajmer, Rajasthan. His area of research interest related to Molecular Mechanisms involved in Neurodegenerative Processes, Animal Behavioral Activities and Identify the Strategies to improve Neuronal Communication with special emphasis on Dementia of Alzheimer type, Huntington disease, Neuropathic pain, Cardiac and Renal Toxicities, and to Identify, Explore and Scientifically Proof the new Herbal Medicines and Phyto-chemicals Compounds and its Derivatives for the Better Human use. He was received Best student award in B.Pharm Batch, and Three Times Scholarship as well as college topper in B.Pharm Batch Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab. He is member of advisory board in many national and international journals. He is also serving as reviewer in of Renal Failure, London, UK, Neural Regeneration Research, China. He also attended several conferences in India and other countries and performed many presentations. He has published 48 articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. He also supervised 9 B.Pharm students, 17 M.Pharm and 1 M.S Pharm, and 1 PhD student as supervisor/co-supervisor.
