Mr. Anil Gaddameedi, is an research scholar working on establishing the genetic control of grain Fe and Zn and cytoplasmic effects on grain Fe and Zn in sorghum science Three and half years , at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Patancheru 502 324, Telangana, India. He has an excellent academic record and research skills in plant breeding, molecular techniques in biotechnology, and biostatistics. Presently he is working for his doctoral thesis on “Studies on genetic control of grain Fe and Zn concentration and cytoplasmic effects on grain Fe and Zn in sorghum”. He was also involved in studying the influence of low temperature on flowering and seed setting in sorghum. He has excellent intellectual abilities, perseverance, and the dedication required for a sound researcher. He has good communication skills and an excellent command in English language, and knowledge of computer and statistical software.
Mr. Anil holds a BS in Biotechnology from Kakatiya University and an MSc Genetics Department of Genetics Osmania University. Pursuing PhD in Genetics in International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad. From Osmania University Mr. Anil serving as a Assistant Director for NGO, Center for Organic Agriculture and Lively hood Development (COALD).
Mr. Anil has been awarded the University Grant commission- Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship from Government of India.
