Biography

Dr. S.B. Latake is presently working as Assistant Plant Pathologist in All India coordinated cotton Improvement Project , Rahuri center. He has completed his Ph.D. recently in 2015 under the guidance of Dr. S.G.Borkar and research topic was `Search for antiviral compounds from mushroom fungi,algae and actinomycetes.He joined the University services in the year 2004 at college of Agriculture, Pune as a Assistant Professor. during his service for six years he taught B.sc. and M.Sc. courses of Plant Pathology and Agril. Microbiology. So far he has guided 3 Post graduate students as a research guide.
