Dr. Satinder Kaur Brar is currently working as Associate Professor at National Institute of Scientific Research, Canada. She has completed her Ph.D. in Water Sciences from same Institute, and Post-doctoral training from McGill University, Department of Chemical Engineering. Previously she worked as Scientist B at Defense Research and Development Organization, Delhi, India, Scientist at Institute of Formulation Technology (IPFT), Gurgaon, Haryana, India, and Environmental Affairs Officer at UNDP and UNEP sponsored Organization, Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS), Jaipur, India. She is member of editorial board in Journal of Waste Water Treatment & Analysis, and reviewer for several journals. Dr. Satinder received honor includes Star Researcher award of the University at INRS-ETE, 2008 ASCE Rudolf Gold medal for the originality of a published article on Biofilteration Processes, Wladimir Smirnoff fellowship during doctoral research, Awarded three best research paper presentation awards, and Awarded prestigious National Chemical Laboratory fellowship in India during Master’s studies in India) stood first in the competition of about 500000 candidates. She has published 153 research articles in journal. She has supervised 9 PhD, 2 Post Doctoral and co-supervised 3 Ph.D.s and 1 Post doctoral projects. She also contributed in number of research projects.
