Biography

Dr. G. Dhinakaran is currently working as Professor, Civil Engineering at SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu, India. He obtained his PhD in Offshore Structures from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2003, MSc in Transportation Engineering and Management from Regional Engineering College, Trichy in 1990. Dr. G. Dhinakaran has 24 years teaching experience as well as 10 years research experience. His research includes Hydrodynamics of Coastal Structures Concrete technology and Materials in Civil Engineering, Structures in Marine Environment. He is also serving the international scientific community by extending expertise as editor and reviewer in number of journals. He has supervised 5 PhD students 2 PhD thesis and 5 PhD students currently in his supervision. He has published (36) research papers, (1) review paper in international and national journals as author/co-author and (20) papers in conferences.
