Dr. Devendra Kumar Payasi is currently working as Scientist of Plant Breeding & Genetics at Regional Agricultural Research. He obtained his PhD degree in the field of Plant Breeding & Genetics from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Chhatisgarh, India. His main area of interest include Pharmacology and Toxicology, Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Plant and Soil Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Sciences, Physical Science Engineering, Social Sciences, Business Management and Accounting, Computer Sciences, Environmental Sciences. His area of expertise include Crop improvement, Plant breeding, Agriculture, Abiotic stress breeding, Plant Drought breeding, Chickpea breeding, Mungbean breeding, Biotic stress, Rice, Marker assisted Breeding, Phenotyping of root traits, Plant tissue culture, Breeding for Quality traits, Plant response to stress, Genomics, Plant biotechnology, Biofortification in Rice.
