Dr. Wilma Delphine Silvia is currently working as Professor and HOD at Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, India. She obtained her M.D. degree in Biochemistry from Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, Manipal University, Karnataka, India. She is having 20 years working experience. She has published 38 articles in national and international journals, presented 10 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author. She is also author of 2 books. She is also working on 4 research projects and short term projects grants from IMCR. She is also serving as reviewer and member of editorial board in many journals. She was a receiver of Excellence Award on 22nd October 2004 at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, organized by Christian Employees Movement, Bangalore, and Basavashree State Award. She is member of various committees. She is professional member of Indian Medical Association, and Association of Clinical Biochemists of India. She also delivered 8 invited lectures in different Institute. She also attended 38 conferences and seminars.
