Dr. K. Nagarajan obtained his Ph.D. in Entomology from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. His area of expertise includes Chemical Ecology: Extraction of Chemical Compound from Insect Pests and study the Predator-prey Interaction, learnt the technique of Biochemical and GCMS Analyser, Identification of Insect Pests of Economic importance and their Natural Enemies on various Agricultural and Forest Plantations, Mass Rearing of Predators and Parasitoids in the Laboratory, Laboratory Mass Culture of Pests like American Bollworm Helicoverpa Armigera (Hub.), the Tobacco Caterpillar Spodoptera Litura (Fabricius), the Spotted Bollworm Earias Vitella (Fab.) and Stored product Pest Corcyra Cephalonica (Stainton). He has published 11 research papers in journals, 1 communication, and 6 papers presented in national and international conferences as author/co-author. He also attended 9 conferences/workshops/seminars. He is member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata, India, Journal of Biological Control, Bangalore, India, and Journal of Insect Environment, Bangalore, India. Dr. K. Nagarajan received honors includes Research Associate at Spices Board, ICRI, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Junior Research Fellow-Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), and Certificate of Merit awarded for M.Phil Zoology course by St. Xavier’s College, Palalyamkottai.
