Biography

Dr. Soundararajan R.P. is currently working at Department of Rice Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He has completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology from same University. He also served as Research Associate, and Senior Research Fellow at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, and Research Associate at Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore. Dr. Soundararajan received honors include awarded ICAR Senior Research Fellowship in Agricultural Entomology for Ph.D. programme, awarded Gujarat Agro Industries Gold Medal during Post Graduate in Agricultural Entomology, and awarded Rajah Sir Muthiah Chettiar Agriculture Silver Jubilee Memorial Prize. He is life member of Entomological Society of India, IARI, New Delhi, Madras Agricultural Students Union, TNAU, Coimbatore, Indian Society of Pulses Research and Development, IIPR, Kanpur, Entomological Academy of India, Chennai, American Biographical Inc. Raleigh, NC, USA, and annual member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkatta. He has published 46 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
