Biography

Mr. Govarthanan Muthusamy is currently working as Research Fellow at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. He is Ph.D. Student in Biotechnology from Chonbuk National University, South Korea. He obtained his Master of Science in Biotechnology in (2009) from Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He was received University I Rank Gold medal in M.Phil, and Awarded Research Fellow by Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. His field of specialization includes Real Time PCR, Solid State Fermentation, Molecular Biology of Gene Expression, Cytotoxicity of Cell Lines, Metal-Microbes Interactions, Microbes-Plant interaction for enhanced Phytoremediation, and Bio-nano Materials and its Application. He has 14 publications in journals, 3 oral/poster presentations in conference as author/co-author. He is professional member of Asian Federation of Biotechnology, and European Federation of Biotechnology. He is editor for British Journal of Biotechnology. He is also serving as reviewer in journals such as Chemosphere, African Journal of Biotechnology, Asian Journal of Biotechnology, Asian Journal of Biological Sciences, and Food Biotechnology.
