Dr. Suneeta Dubey is currently holding the post of Medical Director, Director - Glaucoma Services & Quality Assurance across at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital. Dr. Suneeta Dubey is a renowned ophthalmologist, recognized both for her mastery of sophisticated techniques in eye surgery and for her pioneering community work in ophthalmology in rural and urban areas of North India. She has performed more than 40000 cataract surgeries, 10000 glaucoma surgeries successfully and treated more than 2 lakh patients so far. Dr. Suneeta Dubey is a life member of many Scientific Committees/Societies such as All India Ophthalmological Society, International society of Spaeth fellows (ISSF), Research Advisory Board of Allergan Pharmaceuticals India Pvt. Ltd. And Delhi Ophthalmic Society etc. She has been invited to many of Ophthalmological Societies nationally and internationally to deliver lectures and present scientific papers. She has been continuously involved in fellowship training programme in the hospital and trained more than 100+ Glaucoma fellows nationally and internationally. She has more than 100+ research publications in Indexed and Non-Indexed Journals and several book chapters. She has conducted and was a part of Instruction courses in national and International conferences on various topics of Glaucoma. She has been a reviewer of various journals like Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology & Research, International Journal of Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology and guest reviewer of Journal of Glaucoma. She is a prolific academician and has been a sought after invited faculty in various conferences and CMEs. She has performed live glaucoma surgeries including Trabeculectomy and Tube implants in various conferences. She has been heading the Quality Assurance department of the hospital for the last 14 years and has vast experience in implementation of QMS with management of various aspects like conducting audits, data analysis and training of various concepts and tools of quality assurance in hospital. She has been instrumental in achieving and sustaining the NABH accreditation status of the hospital. Dr. Suneeta has received numerous awards for her contributions to scientific knowledge and for her vast social work. Her honors includes “Best Paper Award received in International Congress on Glaucoma Surgeries in Nov 2010 for “Outcomes of Pediatric Glaucoma”, “ET - Selvam Award for the best poster presentation titled " Postoperative severe uveitis due to bacterial endotoxin in irrigating fluid; mimicking endophthalmitis" at AIOS Annual Conference, 2004 at Varanasi”, and certificate for Best presentation in glaucoma session for the paper titled “surgical outcome of paediatric glaucoma” at AIOS 2007 held at Hyderabad. Received best paper award for the paper “Using lean six sigma to improve throughput efficiency at tertiary eye care hospital in AIOS 2016 at Kolkata and also in the Annual conference of vision 2020 at PUNE in June 2016. She has received Women Achiever award as Role Model in Health category by Business Rankers Magazine in 2017. She has been nominated as Honorary professor by Indian Medical association since August 2017
