Biography

Dr. Sukhes Mukherjee is an Associate Professor at NRI Institute of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine, and In-charge of the Research Unit, Central Research Laboratory of this institute, India. Dr.Mukherjee holds an MSc in Medical Biochemistry with distinction from Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences and PhD in Clinical Biochemistry from Amrita University India, School of Medicine and elected as Fellow of International College of Nutrition in 2011. He is presently involved in two projects related to liver diseases and thyroid hormones. Dr. Mukherjee has over 50 scientific papers and projects either presented or published. He is an internationally recognized expert in many areas of advanced biomedical research including Free radicals and Antioxidants, Alcoholism and it affects Nervous System, Polyphenols and Clinical research. He is being invited and sought for to share his knowledge on Alcoholism research. Dr. Mukherjee is in editorial board of various national and international journals, like American journal of Biological, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sciences, World research journal of Brain and Cognitive science and International Journal of Medical & Clinical research. He is also the reviewer of Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic research and Biomedical Signal Process. Recent publications include a paper of critically evaluating the role of alcohol ingestion on different parts of the nervous system. Dr. Mukherjee has been awarded by American Association of Clinical Chemistry in 2011, International Society for Neurochemistry in 2008 and is a member of the Whos Who for International Executives. He has served as a member of various medical and scientific societies. He is also the executive committee member of various national and international scientific societies. Dr. Mukherjee is recognized by his peers as a Scientific expert that integrates new technologies into everyday clinical practice and finding the new areas in advancement of biomedical research.
