Biography

Dr. Vivek Lal is currently working as Associate Professor in Pharmacology, College of Medicine, King Faisal University, Al Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has completed his M.D. in Pharmacology from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India, and PhD in Medical Education from Nixon University, USA. He is having 26 years of comprehensive medical experience, out of which more than 15 years has been as a Doctor of Medicine in Pharmacology. He has a very strong background of Clinical Medicine, Medical Academics (Medical Education), Pre-Clinical Drug Research, Clinical Research, Hospital Administration and Logistics, his services can be effectively & optimally utilized in the roles of a Clinician. He has been nominated as a member of the International WHO’S WHO society of professionals, USA (in the field of Pharmacology, pre-clinical and clinical research and pharmaceutical medical affairs). In addition, he is nominated expert speaker for Henry Stewart Talks, London, for the provision of online lectures in the field of Pharmacology and therapeutics. He is also a nominated member of the Science Advisory Board, based at Arlington, Virginia, USA, so also an expert reviewer for the International Fellowship Programme at the William Harvey Research Institute-Academy, (Co-fund Marie Curie) Queen Mary’s Institute of Medicine & Dentistry, London, UK. He has recently become an expert Consultant at the Emerald Lake Technologies (LLC) [Brookline Advisors], Boston, USA, investigating drug safety issues, so also an expert Consultant with the INCT Team, CNPq (Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation), Brazil. He has 6 publications in journals. His area of research interest focuses on Oncology, Immunology, Cardiology, Toxicology, Targeted drug delivery. He is full member of The Australasian Society of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacologists and Toxicologists (ASCEPT), Adelaide, South Australia, life member of Indian Pharmacological Society, Medical Journal, Armed Forces India and official reviewer for Journal of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, and Journal of Applied & Basic Medical Research.
