Dr. Vijayakumar Rajendran is currently working at North Eastern Hill University, India. He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from same University. His main area of expertise includes Protein Expression, Protein Purification, Nutritional Biochemistry, Viral Vaccines, and Plant Biochemistry. He also worked as Junior Biochemist at M.V. Hospital for Diabetes, Chennai, India, R.D Chemist at Synkromax Biotech Pvt Ltd, Chennai, India, and Project Fellow at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. He was received Young Achievers Award for Science by Jayam Youth Foundation, Tamilnadu, India, and nominated for Commonwealth Scholarship Plan to Kenya in 2013 by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He has published 5 articles in journals. He has presented oral presentation in several national and international conferences and published two book chapters. He is contributing as Editorial member in Journal of Applied Virology published by Hong Kong Institute of Biological standardization Ltd and as a peer reviewer in African Journal of Biotechnology, Alternative Medicine Studies and Biochemistry & Physiology: Open Access, Journal of plant Biochemistry and Physiology, Journal of Scientific Research and Reports etc.
