Dr. Premanand Ponoth is currently working as Senior Consultant and Chief Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Parashoth Super Speciality Hospital. He is also working as Senior Consultant and Chief Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Kauvery Hospital, Myalapore Chennai, Chief of Cardio thoracic & Vascular Surgery at Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospital. He received his MBBS degree from Nalanda Medical College, Patna, Bihar, India. He is member of following scientific societies: India Medical Association, Association of Surgeons of India, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of India, Australian Medical Association, Australian Cardiothoracic Association, New York Academy of Sciences, Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Premanand Ponoth received honors include, Fellow of Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons of India, Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians, Fellow of International College of Angiology, Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals. He has published 21 papers in journals, 41 in conferences.
