Biography

Dr. R. Subashkumar, Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. He has successfully completed a major research project entitled, “Synthesis and characterization of hydroxyapatite (Hap) by Serratiamarcescens MTCC 4822 and its efficiency on human bone implantation,” funded by UGC, New Delhi. A total of 48 papers have been published in peer reviewed journals, and four books have also been published with ISBNs. Research findings are also published as chapters in reputed books chapters in six books). He has been awarded the Best Faculty Award in Bioscience, hosted by Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu India.
