Biography

Dr. Keshav Kant Sahu is currently working as an Associate Professor at school of studies in Biotechnology, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University. He started his professional career as a Junior Research Fellow in 1995, then become Research Assistant, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer. He completed his PhD in Biosciences in 2000. He has supervised 18 students for their research work and has 17 publications. Moreover, he has attended 3 conferences, 2 papers presented in Symposia proceedings and 46 abstracts published in national and international conferences. He has written 3 books, one book chapter and edited 4 other books. His major research interests are in age induced metabolic disorders in seeds/seedlings, post harvest handling and storage of seeds, heavy metal imposed injuries in seeds/seedlings. Now, Dr. Keshav Kant Sahu are looking forward to the commercialization of medicinal plants including Chlorophytum borivilanium for the extraction of active ingredients.
